How reliable is the inner pillow?

We have designed the inner pillow to basically last the life of the pillow. It is made of a light yet strong polyurethane film. Polyurethane is strong, abrasion and tear resistant, highly flexible, moisture and mildew resistant and it is widely used for many athletic, industrial and medical applications. Each inner pillow has been tested against manufacturer’s defects in a 24-hour inflation test. Although it is inside the fibre pillow it can be damaged by sharp objects (like cat claws). If your pillow does spring a leak you can repair it. Duck tape can be a quick fix but you can make permanent repairs using a repair kit for polyurethane inflatables available at outdoor stores.
